Welcome to Anthro-Junkies

► We are a group that focuses mostly on anthropomorphic characters, and unknown feral artists.
Here are a few things to help with organization and to keep the group together:

• Group accepts only Anthropomorphic and feral characters.
Be sure to check wether your art is related to anthro (anthropomorphic animal characters).
You can only upload 3 pictures a week to the group.
Arts in their correct folders
Please send your work to the correct destination.
When your work is not sent to the correct folder, the process is slow and may be refused.
You can submit an artwork once a week. However, the group administration will vote and judge your submission, so try to send only your best ones! (:
Respect each other
Respect the others opinions and preferences.
By disregarding this rule, you may be banned from the group.
Any member and non-member may suggest favourites so feel free to add!
Please send us a request to any affiliation.
Enjoy your time in the pack!
The group was created exclusively for your enjoyment. :snowflake:

:pointr: These should help for the time being until I get situated, and learn how to run a full blown group! So please be patient!

Lots of new members have joined since our Canine I is full post in our journal, and I have been seeing a lot of submissions to that folder and it's becoming tiresome to over and over tell everyone individually not to submit to it. I feel as a administrator to this group it's quite concerning over the amount being submitted in total. Disregarding the fact that new members not knowing 100% of the new folder and to submit there, I can see how confusing it can be considering the old gallery still has a submission button. Keep in mind we do not have Super Group access and can't make all possible changes as we would like to make. :(

Canine submissions go to Canine II folder now. Forgot to mention this above :P

However, please keep in mind that if you submit just because you are able to submit it, that it will in fact not go in the full gallery. Thus taking up one of your weekly submissions. (THIS CANNOT BE REVERSED!!!!!!!!)

Next: Submission Discretion>>

Please use discretion when submitting to folders, if the art that is to be submitted is a sketch, please submit it under Sketches, LineArt and WIP's and not in the species that the artwork is of.

For example: I submit one of my rabbit drawings, that's considered Sketches, LineArt and WIP's and not classified as Other.

If the art is coloured or has great significant detail then it can be considered for a species folder or even the Featured gallery if it meets our ridiculously high standard of submission :P

Next: Featured Submissions>>

I have received some notes to why a lot of the submissions are denied acceptance from the gallery. Keep in mind that it must at least meet most of the requirements that I have. Other admins are similar and may have tougher stances on what qualifies, this is what makes me say yes.

1.) Quality of work:
If the submission looks appealing to the eye, great detail and usage of space and background (if applicable). That gets a step forward to the next step.

2.) Originality:
Having a story related to a character, scene or in the work in general appeals to me. Just seeing a random bunch of anthromorphs in a image isn't overly interesting.

If the work tells a story like for example::
There is a epic battle happening and the characters clash and detail to emotion between the fighters, or there is a intimate scene between 2 lovers (regardless of sexual preference) and it's in good taste. Appeals to me.

3.) Copyrighted material>>
If you are using other peoples characters and/or stories it does not appeal to me. This can be related to the Originality step. However if the original source (linked) or if the Initial Creator approves of this then this can change my mind. But is not likely to.

4.) Tastefulness>>
If the work is essentially smutt/snuff/gore/rape/paedophilia/anti-racial/prejudice in nature there will be a instant no, and such content will never be accepted.

Sexual/Erotic tones are acceptable, some assault as long as it's not derogatory or in bad taste.

Hope this will help new members out, and existing members if they still had questions :)

Does anyone here do Furry/Anthro Character Designs for 100 ponits and under?

I would really love a bat OC (Flying Fox or Bat Ear)

Note me for more details ~

Do you have a set standard for art quality on this group?
Delkathus 13 hours ago  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
There is no "official" standard to the quality of art allowed in our general folders.

There is a very high standard when submitting into our featured folder however.

Alright, thanks. :3
In need of a commission!!

I've never drawn anthro/made an anthro character before so I need to practice before I draw my character. Until then, I need a good artwork to display her to be able to show people.

I'm not picky on style, I just need someone good enough to get the right body type. And unfortunately, by budget is only about 300Points max

Take a gander through the Commission Ads folder, members who offer commissions via there. You can also submit a proper ad in there as well for a commission. :)
Oh cool!! Thanks! :D
